This was a trail running race at Mont Sainte Anne. I slept in the back of an SUV that I rented to drive out there... for some reason I thought Mont Sainte Anne was located closer to Montreal. It was a smaller crowd, and a very hard but very fun race. I think trail running is one of my favorite activates. They misspelled my name with Adie as my first name and Mather as my last name, so when I was called to the podium to collect the third place medal for my age group I didn't know it was me who was being called (it was also a very French crowd, and the accent made it even harder to recognize my name). Needless to say I was very happy with my results.
