Pop Montreal: went to go see Tokyo Police Club (check out their stuff on MySpace), and The Hot Springs (check out their stuff on MySpace) last night. I had heard Tokyo Police Club before, but I didn't realize that they were so young. I think they're going to become pretty big; their interesting, tight, and have a good pop groove. The Hot Springs were also a pleasant surprise, Giselle Webber has a great voice, it's like a heavy tremolo hippy voice (quirky and interesting) set to slightly harder rock. I'd go see either of these bands again.
