Good training week, but today messed up my volume. Next week there won't be much swimming because the downtown YMCA pool is closed. I will, however use the pool across the street, and I'll go out to Olympic Stadium.

This felt like a hard week time wise, but it was a kick ass week in training quality and quantity. I've gotten most of my strength back. From here on out it's time to build up to an ass kicking race season.

Well the totals this week suck, but the quality of the swims and runs were good. I have to do better.

It's been a good solid week of training. I'm 45min short of my weekly goal, but I'm still just beginning to build again, so I don't feel too bad. In the next week or two I'm going to assess my goals, my available time, my races, and come up with a training plan (and set of rules) for the season. This might seem a little anal to those who don't have my particular goals, but in order to reach them I need to be fairly strict with myself. The key is to try to find a balance that won't drive me nuts.
