TopicsNew ultra light frame material?Submitted by matthew on Thu, 2007-03-01 11:13.
I think there's going to have to be some new studies done adding the properties of crochet to the comparisons of carbon, aluminum, titanium, and steel as frame building materials (and techniques).
This photo came from jackrabbit.etsy.com's photoset on Flickr. 2007 Race ScheduleSubmitted by adie on Mon, 2007-01-22 17:01.
This is my tentative race schedule for 2007. I haven't entered the dates into my Events Calendar yet, but I will do so shortly. I will also post notice once I've paid the registration fee for a race. I would be happy to see anyone and everyone at the races, and I would be even happier if anyone wants to participate with me (trust me, it's actually fun). I also want to find a nearby end of season marathon (late Oct or early Nov) but have not yet done so.
Stomach to CompeteSubmitted by matthew on Sat, 2007-01-06 21:08.
Ok I forget where I found this image so I can't give credit where credit is due (if it belongs to you let me know).
But there must be some Canadian triathlete out there somewhere with the stomach to compete with this. Common! I triple dog dare you! Trackback URL for this post:http://www.tanh.net/trackback/1543

The IrregularsSubmitted by adie on Sun, 2006-12-24 22:07.
An informal cycling group that I might try riding with in the spring. That is if they're still active.

Cadence TriathlonSubmitted by adie on Sun, 2006-12-24 21:12.
I like the look of this triathlon club. I'll probably opt for the McGill club because it's cheaper and very good, but this one has it's appeal.
Mcgill Triathlon ClubSubmitted by adie on Sun, 2006-12-24 21:10.
This is a high end triathlon club that's attached to McGill, but you don't have to be a McGill student to join. You do however have to be a member of it's athletic center.

Cheesy but TrueSubmitted by matthew on Fri, 2006-12-01 10:12.
Taken from Tri-Life Manifesto:
~There is, and always will be someone faster, stronger, and more talented than you at whatever you do no matter your skill level...and someone slower, weaker, and less talented. No matter your skill level. ~Everyone asks it. When will I be faster? Stronger? Better? In the words of Hemingway, it happens gradually and then suddenly. You train and train and train, and then wake up one day... faster... stronger... and better. Trackback URL for this post:http://www.tanh.net/trackback/381

Studio PraxisSubmitted by matthew on Sat, 2006-11-25 09:54.
Probably the best Pilates studio in town. It's a Stott Pilates studio owned and operated by a friend of mine. I admit that I'm biased because the owner and some of the instructors are friends of mine but... The only thing I don't like about the studio is that it's located in Westmount.

Triathlete MagazineSubmitted by matthew on Sat, 2006-11-25 09:18.
I frequently read this magazine. It's got great articles, photos, training advice, and race reports.
Runner's WorldSubmitted by matthew on Sat, 2006-11-25 09:13.
A magazine about running. It's was worth subscribing to, but for environmental reasons I stopped subscribing to magazines all together. I do, however, periodically pick it up at the news stand.
BeginnerTriathlete.comSubmitted by adie on Sat, 2006-11-18 19:21.
For beginners? Sort of, but there's a lot there that's useful to many. There are many triathlon articles, training plans, and gear reviews available on this site. The forums are good, and I was using (and liking) the training log for quite a while.
